Alkisah vendor dan majlis aqiqah

Sejak sebelum Afiqah dilahirkan lagi, aku dah berazam utk buat majlis aqiqah dan cukur jambul untuk dia sebagai tanda penghargaan kepada Yang Esa atas anugerahnya..nak tau lebih lanjut pasal aqiqah? sila baca di sini.

Sebenarnya preparation utk buat majlis ni dah seakan-akan menguruskan kenduri kawin hehe. Waktu berpantang digunakan sepenuhnya untuk mencarik vendor yg sesuai utk merealisasikan majlis kami ini..and it really isn’t an easy task.

Especially if you’re fussy. Like me.

The criteria I look for when dealing with potential vendors are :

a) Friendliness
b) Professionalism
c) Price

Kalau price ok, tapi tak friendly when communicating with me via e-mail..I won’t choose you.

There are some vendors yang jenis kerek pun ada. Kita tanya sket, dia jawap “TENGOK KAT BLOG” aduh la kalo blog ko kemas takpe gak..ini kengkadang dia main taip je description kat e-mail, contohnya paperbag kan..manala aku nak tau 5″x10″x6″ tu besar mana compared to 11″x5″x6″ contohnya kan. Bila ditanya, dijawapnya camtu. Apa la salahnya tempek gambar tu kat e-mail so that the customer can refer?

Pastu ada plak yang SPEAKING SPEAKONG memanjang. Langsung tade satu perkataan in Malay. Ok I know my English is not as good as yours but can you not sense the informality of our communication? I just couldn’t be bothered to communicate to u in English..malas. But the person still nak gak cakap cam CEO je. We do not offer dot dot dot service, we can only cater to dot dot dot. Okla boss, as you say la. Terus reject. Boring tengok org Melayu yg camni.

Kalau service mcm slacking sket and paling ku tak suka is when the vendors tend to “whine” coz dorang ada byk keje, then you’re also out. Bukan ape, come on you’ve established a business, and of course there would be peak moments and off peak moments. Customers come and go. Tak bole la time ko punya peak season, customer tanya how’s the progress u go on whining saying that you belum buat lagi my part coz u’ve been busy till the wee hours of the morning menampal sticker ke tq tag ke kat org lain punya order..it goes to show that you’re not managing your time well. Well…if in reality you’re not, please do not tell your customer. It lacks their confidence.

So camne? Terpaksa la aku mencarik vendor lain lagi..sampai juling bijik mata den.

I’ve already chosen the vendors for the doorgifts, cradle and photographer. Hopefully all will turn out well on the day. Mereka ni sume ada at least 2/3 of the criterias above. Okla tuu..better than nothing🙂

Kamu-kamu sekalian yang memiliki online business tak kira la di blog atau FB, try to be courteous ye. Tak semestinya we don’t meet face to face you do not need to be professional with the potential customers.

      hehe nanti lepas majlis tu i wat entry eh..skang ni tanak reveal dulu coz nak tgk prestasi memasing camne..dun wori cradle i dpt murah je, u tgk yg cam harga pelamin tu coz it comes segala bagai dgn backdrop pelamin sume kut?
