I bet the readers of this blog would think that I am so inclined towards business, it’s either I’m selling or I’m purchasing hehe but it would always be something to do with money kan?
Haha, it was never intended to be this way. It just happened. Dahla aku allergic dgn nombor, seriously allergic that my brain seems to be absolutely slow in processing simple calculation in my head. Nama je buat side income tp seriously I’m bad in maths. It makes me wonder how the heck did I got my As in Maths, except Add Maths la of course, tu dgn bangganya dpt C6. Hahah, aku ni nak kire barang 10% diskaun pun tak reti haaa, i think baru dis year kut I baru tau kalo nak kire 10%, u just kene move one decimal to the left and u just minus it off la. DUH. Baru tau haa..haha slama ni guna calculator dlm handphone je. Ai bile lagi nak guna facility yg ada kan..calculator ada, guna je la..kui kui kui.
Anyway, arini I wanna pokpek about how I started off this kerepek business. Business yg slalue dipandang remeh oleh org..bcoz usually its related to low income people kan..yg kat pasar tani or abg2, kakak2 yg slalue bwk plastic beg beso yg slalue kuar masuk kedai mkn promote kepek dorang kan.
Citenya camni, masa tu masa Mr Fiance was just a guy at the 8th floor yg cuba mengorat a gurl at the 12th floor je haha. At that time, we were working in the same building, different company la of coz! tak main ar sama company..cepat bosan. So dlm kitorang dok gayut2 kat ofis fon (masa dulu die suke beno kaco org wat keje, sesket call, sesket call) die ckp die tgh makan kerepek ubi officemate die jual. So me, being the typical anak Jawa yg xleh resist kepek mcm “ehhh..mana dpt?sedap tak..lapo la skang ni, ada kepek lebih tak?” so kebetulan mmg ada kepek lebeh, die pon dgn smgtnya bwk la kepek tu naik ke 12th floor. Tatau la masa tu niat die tu sekadar nak bagi aku kenyang ke or nak cuci mata skali tatau la but I know the kepek tasted good! when I shared it amongst my officemates pun sume kate sedap, so dari one packet of kepek dah jadi a few packets of kepek and knowing the environment kat ofis camne yg sejuk nak mampus, dgn stress level yg sgt tinggi memaki hamun keje yg tahpape tu, kepek je la yg menjadi penghibur, asal stress je ngap makan..hehe so makin lama makin ada demand from my office, makin kerap la jugak kitorang dpt peluang bersemuka pandang2 jeling2 sambil ckp pasal kepek ni hehe (professional relationship la katekan) sampaaii laa akhirnya kitorang pun became an item and akhirnya jadi ala2 bisnes associate. Whenever there is order from my place, I will inform him to inform his officemate to bring it to us la..i think for half a year pn kitorang wat keje amal ni laa..hehe tak amik pape komisen, tak even terdetik utk start taking this thing seriously coz masa tu dok angau tungau la kuttt coz whenever there is kepek delivery, it also means I can meet him! hahah..kesempatan itu SANGAT diperlukan utk menaikkan motivasi diri utk bekerja..ewah.
When I first started out pun ppl would go “HAH KO JUAL KEPEK?TAU LA SUKE MKN KEPEK PON SMP JUAL?” even my parents pon mcm terkejut, dlm bebyk mende la aku nak jual utk kumpul duit pun..nape la kepek coz usually there’s not much profit coming out from it pun, but we didn’t care. Our concept is easy, untung 10 sen pun dah kire perniagaan, tade sape yg akan kasi ko 10 sen all the time, melainkan thru ur own business. Sket2 lama2 jadi bukit la heheh betul tak anak2 sekalian?
The hardest people to tame is family members! Lama jugak la nak menambat ati my parents that our kerepek ni bukan calang2 kepek because whenever there is order only would we inform our supplier and only then that they would start frying the kerepeks, so everything is fresh from the oven (ala2 Famous Amos) hehe, so the kepek of coz la rangup lagi kan? haa like that la..so far, alhamdulillah la..we started off in 2006 I think..and still going strong until now. Even my parents pon dah terjebak in ordering kepek from us for their officemates, my relatives now look for me for raya or kenduri kendara..hehe..haa tu la jgn memain!
Not only that I found the love of my life through kepek ni hehe (walaupun skang we’re no longer working in the same building), but hey I made new frens as well as they became our regular customers..lepas tu rezeki tahun ni, dah ada byk org plak nak menjual kepek below us, so kitorang plak yg jadi their supplier..so kirenye beranak2 la mende ni..free registration fee u know to become our downline! haha, just take a few sample of kepeks to ur office, see if ur officemates likes it or not, if yes, continue bringing in more stocks. As easy as that. Haa kalo ada readers tu keje kat Maybank Shah Alam ke Maybank Subang ke MISC DayaBumi ke Maersk ke..mana tah lagi…kepek aku la tu korang dok makan hehehe..

Here u go people, pictures of the kerepek that we are selling..the big packets are 500gm while the small packets are 100gm. Like I mentioned earlier, the 100g is very d suitable to bring it to ur office and sell it amongst ur colleagues..trust me! hehe it works!

Every flavour is liked by everyone hehe I can’t really say which flavour is the most edible, coz different customers have different tastebuds but all in all, sume ok la hehe..
